I've been trying for months and haven't been able to get past 4 days. I know I need to stop, but I always can't make it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm new here, but my intention is to just literally "run away" from my problem. If I start thinking I want to do something just go outside and run! Run until I'm tired. IDK if it will work, haven't had that problem just yet. I also don't think I'm quite as addicted as others. I do have a problem but it's not nearly as bad as others. Good luck to you, hope you find something that works.

You can make it past 4 days. Anyone can. But this doesn't just happen. You need to make it happen. You need to have a plan, and then you need to choose to execute the plan. You have the ability to control what you do. The notion that anyone or anything else is in control is a lie you're telling yourself. Change the conversation. Retake control.

Set a goal. Set up a counter. Make a plan for how you are going to avoid avoidable triggers. Make a plan for how you are going to deal with unavoidable triggers. You want to beat this? Then roll up your sleeves and get to work.

Plenty of good people in here are ready to help you out with advice, information and support. But we can't want it for you. Only you can do that.

Just keep thinking how much more accomplished you will feel after each successful day. Use that feeling as fuel to be more confident in how strong you are for going that extra day.
