Cold showers

    Hi guys,

    I am an active 30yo. amateur athlete and I've been battling with ED for quite a long time. It all started when my girlfriend of 5years left me.

    I started to watch a lot of porn (not sure if that helped) but along the way I got to weirder and weirder categories of porn. One day, I ended up with really hot girl alone on the backseat of the car. She was trying to get me aroused but I simply couldn't get hard.

    This was very frustrating for me so I decided that I need a total reboot. I made it 3 months without porn, sex or masturbation and one of my friends started to send me very provocative messages. I already felt that I can get aroused easily so I masturbated and it was an amazing orgasm. Since then I had again active sex life and I could masturbate without porn again.

    But slowly, I would felt back to my original state where I wasn't able to perform, sexually. I felt miserable and tried to reboot again. I ended up having another problems (cancer of my father) so I used masturbation as my drug to feel a little better.

    This made things just worst. I completely lost my morning erections and couldn't get arroused even by watching hardcore porn.

    One day I was reading this article about benefits of cold showers on 2be.fit so I thought I will give it a try. I wasn't expecting anything related to sexual performance but after just few days, my morning erections slowly started to come back. Each morning I got harder and felt better.

    But I developed this nice habit - everytime when I think of masturbation, I go into shower and without hesitation take a really cold shower (besides the regular shower at the morning and before the sleep). I started to enjoy sex again with a girl I like and got addicted to the feeling after cold shower.

    It might be just placebo and completely unrelated (as it shouldn't increase your testosterone levels) but if you have these problems, try to boost your discipline with cold showers. Just give it a try, 10 seconds for the first one is just fine. And I guarantee you that you will feel amazing afterwards.

    I'm a big believer in cold showers.. been doing it for a couple of months. There is lots of research that it's very good for your general health in terms of boosting metabolism, improves your immune system and reduces liklihood of getting colds. If people want to know more google a guy called wim hof.

    Main benefit for me though is I find it helps depression. If the first thing you do each day is have a really cold shower you are refreshed and feel amazing after. Hot showers make me feel cold after, but cold showers make me feel warm. It was hard at first but now I just do it.. no fuss. Highly recommend it.
