Daily Intention Thread : "Today, I am... + POSITIVE AFFIRMATION"

Today I will not give in to lust because it prevents me from connecting to other people. It prevents me from ever becoming a man that would be helpful to a woman and not harmful. Talking to people feels natural when I'm walking in the light. I will not give that away to a cheap fix.

 

Today I will not use porn because I am already on day 9 and I am not gonna give up. I have already started feeling better and my brain is experiencing massive chemical changes. Thumbs up for me ;-)

I don’t have a problem with hardcore porn since the beginning of my journey, but I had a rough time getting over pictures of naked women.

Every relapse was caused by looking up for pictures, scrolling through for some minutes, then closing the browser like nothing harmful happened. BIG MISTAKE. When I used to do this, I’d relapse after 3-4 days .

Therefore, today I won’t be looking at pictures or even thinking about women because lust has destroyed my real inner self. PMO took away from me 6 years of my puberty/adulthood. It has damaged me too much. Instead of 2 seconds of pleasure, I choose a lifetime of bliss and joy.

Today I will not use porn because I am feeling kind of anxious and I know I will get worse if I do. My urges for M'ing yesterday kinda messed me up even though I am feeling better now, but kinda anxious.

Stay in touch if Saturday is a tough day for you. That’s how i feel about Sunday. This forum and all those in it are here to keep you feeling strong. Combine that with plenty of public time (can’t pmo out in the open) and cold showers to keep your Brain in check...and you can make it through...we believe in you my friend!
