I have debated asking this question but have any of you felt a huge mood drop while participating in the NoFap challenge? Today is day 15 of my journey and I've been feeling pretty disconnected from the world lately. After a little research I've come to the conclusion that most people feel happy and confident at this stage but I'm experiencing something different. My emotions start to fade, I talk way less and I'm feeling like my opinion doesn't matter as much as it used to do. Is this something any of you have experienced? Is it temporarily or can I expect the same to come? Any chance this is just because I'm feeling more anxious and stressed because I'm having exams at the moment? Anything helps!

Yeah i feel like i had something like that before dont worry it will go away and you will start to feel better again. I have struggled with stress during exam period even while i was on a streak, focus on your exams the benefits of nofap are coming.

  3. It is due to the lack of seretonin that occurred when you masturbated, you should do other activities that produce it such as exercise for example.

This happened to me as well a few weeks into my first 90 days clean. In fact, for a couple days it felt really depressing and depleting. This, I think, is because constant false gratification from PMO numbs you to whatever issues you have, but as you get weaned off of PMO you regain that sensitivity allowing you to feel pain again.

I find this is a positive and necessary part of the healing process: some of it is just your brain chemically readjusting. But likely, others stem from real internal or external issues that you have the power to change. So this is a time for you to start some serious introspection; to figure out what's causing these bad feelings, and what you need to do to heal that.
