    The more I read this forum the more I see our stories are all similar. Started with vanilla sex, escalated to new stuff, new stuff got boring, escalated more, started to consume unnatural content, homo stuff, gets all confused, now you are confused about your sexuality and you fell bad. It's the porn. It does not matter what niche or category you look at it because it will damage you, but you will never be satisfied because you want more dopamine and the more you consume, the more damaged you will get. Soon, whatever you are watching now, will not be enough and you will escalated more. Its not you. It's the porn consumption.

    5 weeks today off anything trans. For the last couple of years I’ve been slipping up every week to 10 days. It’s been a right battle but I’ve kept getting back up and applying new stuff to help. I did get off to some femdom stuff yesterday which messed me up a bit and am determined to end that too. I’m in a recovery group for booze and drgs but I think regular blogging on here would be a massive help. I really need support with this self punishing material

    Hey guys just wanted to add something, when you are trying to recover from porn escalation and unnatural/extreme porn tastes, you must remember that porn induced tastes is just sexual conditioning through desensitization, then escalation, and one thing that all escalated tastes have in common and that is you are being aroused by the fact that it’s taboo/forbidden/wrong in some aspect, and your not aroused by the actual content.

    So to get rid of these escalated tastes, you need to not reinforce it anymore, by not reinforcing something that is artificially conditioned, it will weaken and weaken, and then you must REWIRE, whether that be masturbating to natural fantasies or having sex with real women, regardless when you take a break from PMO, your brains dopamine levels will start to balance out and eventually natural things will begin to arouse you again, and then you rewire to those natural things and that will make the conditioned porn pathways for extreme stuff go extinct. This is all basic classical conditioning.

    How to identify it’s a porn induced taste:

    - You are getting off by the idea of how wrong/perverse/taboo/forbidden it is, or the shame/guilt it causes, or if it causes you fear, you are not getting off to it because you actually enjoy what’s going on in the video.

    - When you climax to these escalated tastes, you feel absolutely disgusted and repulsed right after the dopamine rush is gone.

    - In your everyday life, the fact that you get off to these extreme tastes causes you a great deal of shame/distress and you feel uncomfortable.


    You have attached some sort of feeling to the extreme porn, and this feeling causes you a dopamine rush because once you make that link with orgasm, your brain has forged a new neural pathway, the whole point is to REBOOT and REWIRE. By doing this, you will remove the pathways created by porn and your natural pathways will take over, and once that connection between extreme porn = dopamine is gone, you’ll be disgusted by the extreme porn.
