File on 4 investigates the Therapy Business

I know people are going to or considering having therapy to help them reboot so a recent episode of File on 4 about the therapy business might be of interest to some.

It's quite shocking really that the UK therapy industry is unregulated and online therapy is no better. At the end of the show they do say that therapy has helped many people and most aren't abused by their therapist but some are. Seeking out therapy is hard enough without the risks of being abused but the fact you could be abused by someone who is supposed to help you is so off putting. I do think therapy might help me in recovery but shows like this make me think twice. Some people interviewed left therapy worse than they were before.
