36 hours approx. Numero uno. Learned from it, what exactly went wrong. Nothing happens by chance, these kinds of mistakes don't come out of the blue. Pinpointed exactly what the catalyst was and ready to make the necessary changes to avoid the pitfall again. I care not to explain more details here, perhaps one day in my journal in the future, but I have definitely had a discussion about it with my best friend, who is my main support with my addictions. What I meant was all this effort and organization that takes place only to quit porn. Sometimes I feel like I'm signing up for NASA when I'm reading this forum. If you decide that you want to quit porn then explore your motives and feelings for a little bit, decide on a date and when it comes just start a counter and that is all you need...I don't understand what is all that "Challenges" and "stroke-free months". I mean when people decide to make up their mind about porn, then just go with that decision, don't reset that counter all the time and fool yourself that you join stroke-free next month...they lose so much time.
I wish it was that simple, but some people need extra motivation to get them through the tough parts. I didn't do any of the things you speak of. I just buckled down and took it all the way, but that is why I want to create a group of people to help others feel like they can do what we are. I hope you can understand that.
