First of all stop looking, and try to get in the habit of doing something else. Try doing something that you like to do that is a goal or an interest that you have, and see how you feel. Should be a big difference. I know when I've done something else, later I'll say I feel better now, and there is a feeling of accomplishment instead of an empty letdown.

 

I don't know if it is actually possible if you can easily access it.

Maybe if you have a busy, happy, healthy life you might hardly ever do it. But even then I still think it would be a struggle to stop it altogether.

For me not being able to access it seems to work best. So being seriously restricted from it etc.
