I need to approach this differently.

    Hello everyone. Not posted on here in a while.

    I’m just halfway through day 4. Been trying to reboot since April. My longest streak is just over 3 weeks.

    I know my reasons for this, but I do struggle. I find that I don’t have the motivation to do this as I did when I started. Like I’ve lost my interest in this. So, I’m trying to approach it as a first-timer. Try to re-kindle that drive that I had.

    So, for Fapstronauts who are further on in this process, any tips? And what should I expect? I never really did any real research on this. I read about this when I was looking for something else, and it seemed like a good idea. When I read my newbie posts and my first journal, it’s like I’m a completely different person.

    So, any help?

    So, read the first thing suggested to me in the "newbie" forum here. It was about how this addiction develops and how it manifests itself.

    Honestly I can say I can relate to a lot of it. I had a little laugh when it talked about over-eating sweets to satisfy my sugar craving. It seems like everything is in abundance, is more exotic and is more intense. No-one is telling me that chocolate is as healthy as fruit. (Unfortunatly). It seems very simple to fall into this trap of ruining your reward system. Especially with something like PMO. And I do feel now that perhaps it has removed my drive for an actual relationship.

    Very glad I read that. Might read 1 off that list every night. Any other suggestions will be appreciated, and used. :)
