I slipped up after just 1 and a half days, and I feel so guilty

    I started my 90 day nofap and porn abstention, and sadly failed after just 1 and a half days.

    I’m starting again today, however I really need some tips from someone experienced to improve my dicipline.

    Without going into too much detail, I had recently done a taboo sexual act (well in my mind anyway) which I think is the result of me watching too much porn and masterbating too much. Anyway, the actually experience wasn’t as good as I thought it would be, however when I returned home, it really aroused me the fact I did something very kinky and different.

    I have noticed my discipline struggles at night, so can anyone give me some tips to get through the night?

    It is very difficult to give advice as everybody works differently. Some people need 2 years of failing to get into the point when they get suddenly some super long streak. Some people can go long after the first time of trying. I am trying already one year (from the last January) and my longest streak was 20 days. Now probably I am heading to longer streak. I had to fail 150x to realize how it makes me really feel. Also when you disconnect your own ego and leave it for the universe to lead you, you can make it. People using their own ego to have long streaks and they are only in a sober state.

    Also, you need to figure out why you are addicted (childhood trauma) and figure out your own connection with yourself. You must build a connection to yourself and own self-love and that will build a real connection with other people. And always remember, opposite of addiction is a connection. As to yourself also to others. Good luck.

    Regardless what P anyone has been watching you need to stop it ASAP.

    Block adult websites on all devices
    Start exercising
    Improve your diet, vitamins etc
    Stay away from negative things like the news (sensationalised headlines etc)
    Start reading, again positive, educational, interesting things
    Listen to good music/positive
    Delete all social media
    Dont touch your pecker apart from washing or taking a piss. Seriously
    Throw away anything that is triggering.
    Do all of this to prove to yourself you’re serious. A lot of people talk a good game but dont back it up.

    This is practical advice to help brother!
