I Went NoFap

Hello,

I am just now joining NoFap after having gone at least three months without PMO-ing. I actually got my Master's degree from Boston University in Theological Studies last August. I had returned to my home state after I graduated to help my dad run a new restaurant he started (I didn't let the school know that I had moved last Fall, so my graduation card was probably sent to my old Boston address that they had on record).

I was driving back from work out of the DFW part of Texas when I had a bad car accident. I have no memory of it now. I have what's called "retrograde amnesia". So not only do I not remember the accident, I also do not remember the time leading up to the accident. I don't remember being in danger or anything.

I was in post-traumatic amnesia (including the retrograde amnesia) from before my accident on Dec. 17 through to the beginning of February. I was at one hospital in January, but we decided to leave it. My parents were doing their best to take care of me, and that hospital gave them a kind of negative view of my injury.

I had what's called a diffuse axonal injury. It's a pretty common form of tbi (traumatic brain injury), but also one of the deadliest. From what I know, only about 5 percent of people who have one will come back out of their amnesia. For that, I am very grateful to God and the prayers that were spoken for me from friends, people I have never met, and even international prayers.

Because I did not "wake up" until February, I wrote "at least" in my opening paragraph. I think going without fapping has been a kind of necessary step for me to take so my body could have higher energy for healing. It could've lasted longer than 3 months, but I do not know that part.

I joined NoFap to learn more about preventing wet dreams and any techniques that allow your body to use your own sperm for spiritual healing and growth. I feel pretty confident of making this journey last as long as I'm a single male. I had not had sex until I was 26, which was the first time I kissed another guy that I like. Boston is pretty different from my hometown in Texas. I take it as a learning experience.

Thank you to everyone who read this! I can technically watch porn on my phone (my desktop computer is stuck at the login password as of now, and I was conspiratprial about passwords, so I had a different password for many of my digital accounts, which meant I forgot them), but I'm spending my time to heal and to focus on my health and continued healing.
