I am sorry if this question is inappropriate or not following the rules. I have discovered a Nofap community for a short while and I am really interested to join and improve myself. I really do.

However, I work as an erotic novel writer. So, does this mean that I have to change my work or is there any other approach to make me eligible to be a part of the Nofap?

Hi, and welcome to the forums. You can certainly join. Nofap is about creating a better version of yourself whatever your job or personal circumstances. One of the often found benefits of a nofap streak is the abilty to take sexual energy and apply it in other areas of your life. At the moment, you might be squandering energy that could otherwise be put to creative effect in your work life.

Then why you think is a problem?
Nofap is about quitting unhealthy masturbation habits to porn and sexual deviances.

As a matter of fact your job fits perfectly with nofap because nofap is not suppression of sexuality as some people think. It's a healthy way to see sex.

Also your job is a healthy transmutation of sexuality, transmutation is encouraged in nofap

Not only do I think thats fine but it puts you at a bit of an advantage cause you're already used to the fantasy aspect of this issue, which is what a lot of people struggle with. There are people who freak out about their streak when they see a boob in a movie so, I think if it works for you and your recovery plan, you're in line with the main point of nofap. I'm more curious what makes you want to quit masturbation though.

While I cannot agree with what you do and I think that you are part of the problem, there is nothing wrong looking for help. So, welcome!
