If a woman claims she has lost interest in sex, is she maybe in flatline?

    Over the years I have heard women claim that they have lost interest in sex--usually because they haven't had any for some time period. Could this simply be a version of flatline for them?

    How can anyone tell without more information and context? Maybe yes maybe no. I realize you're asking in the womens forum but there are no specific examples or any information to work with. What is their biological age?

    Possibly. Or they just haven’t met someone who lights them up. Or could be many other things.

    I don't have a specific case in mind. Only anecdotal information gleaned through the years. I NEVER heard a male casually mention that his sex drive was nil because he hadn't had it for a while. Yet, I have heard many females of various ages tell me that they don't miss sex if they hadn't had it for a prolonged period.

    They probably just don't have very high libidos and don't care much about sex unless they're in a relationship and actively having sex on a regular basis. I'm sure there are some men who are the same.
