It depends on what you think of as shame. The way a lot of people like Brene Brown, who studies shame and had the viral TED talk about it is basically if it's about your action that's guilt, and if it's shame it's your sense of self. So you might say "I feel guilty about doing that" but "I AM ashamed." Even when we say "guilty as charged" - notice how that doesn't feel the same, it's not just how we use the words. The part about laughing at other people would be other people maybe trying to shame the person, people doing nothing except maybe tearing others down which is pretty hypocritical.

  2. Yeah fam, i don't think this picture is suitable for overanalyzing, if you want to analyze it ...its simple as it gets read the all 3 pictures again and you'll get the meaning of the picture.

Don't overcomplicate when not necessary ;)

I didn't really analyze it if you read what I said, I referred to the subject of shame and an expert. Only the last sentence of like 3 sentences I wrote was about the 3 frames.

Of course if you don't care what people like Brene Brown said I guess you can read this as overcomplicating the subject and even "off topic" maybe.
