    Make sure these categories are blocked (you might think they are not related to p):

    Open image / media search
    Proxy avoidance

    Block websites like flickr, tumblr, etc which have lots of p.

    Make a list of all the words that trigger you and add them to the words blacklist. This won't allow you to access pages with those words.

    Give the password to someone you trust. Don't try to hide it by yourself, because you'll still have access to it.
    If you can't give it to anyone, create a master password, open a new email account with this password (this email account will be used for the k9 web protection password recovery option and lettermelater, and the password is for all these things), open another account on lettermelater and link it to the new email account you just created. You can use this site (lettermelater) in order to receive the password every month, 2 months, etc in your regular email account.

    I receive my password every month in case I might want to change the settings of K9 or add new words to the blacklist. Then I delete the email with the password the same day I receive it (it's a rule for me), and it's very important, because you might want to disable k9 if you don't delete it (and if the urges are high for example).

    It's not a good idea to get rid of the password altogether (I've done that), because you might find a loophole and you won't be able to change the settings later.

    And add this as a bookmark:

    javascript:(function(){var%20a=window,b=document,c=a.location.href,f='k9AddSiteToBlacklist',g='http://xxx.x.x.x:xxxx';if(a[f]){a[f](c,g);}else{var d=b.createElement('SCRIPT');d.type='text/javascript';d.src=g+'/k9.js';var e=function(){a[f](c,g);};d.onreadystatechange=function(){this.readyState=='complete'&&e();};d.onload=e;b.getElementsByTagName('head')[0].appendChild(d);}})()

    The "http://xxx.x.x.x:xxxx" is the address of your k9. This will allow you to block a website without the password. Just try to open this bookmark while you're on the page you want to block. K9 will block it instantly, and you won't be able to open it anymore. It doesn't work on youtube, unfortunately.

    This comes from a person who has been using k9 for 6 years and has failed many times. But not anymore... :rolleyes:
