I don't know what to do guys.

I have alot of long successful reboots, my longest being a full year and my most recent at the start of this year for just over 3 months.

Since lockdown, the last 3 months have been very difficult and I have masturbated one every 1 - 2 weeks with porn on average, but the last few weeks have been very problematic.

Id say I've relapsed 7 times in 2 weeks easily...

I'm not sure what to do at this point as my coping mechanisms are out the window.

I started nofap years ago to cure PIED (Which I did after 3 months during my year long reboot) but now I'm worried it wil come back.

    Can anyone help me?

  2. Do you have any idea what is triggering you to keep falling down, you said the lockdown but what about it?

Suppose just loneliness, boredom and just not being able to sleep with anyone at the minute.

But even if I was able to sleep with someone I'd be worried my PIED would be back.

Funnily enough I have a social distance date in a few days but feel I've probably fucked it up due to this.

  4. try to think positive, you seem to be focused on negative things. I know it’s easy to assume the worst but the only thing you lost is some number you put stock into.

Do you think PIED can come back after a few relapses?

  6. I don’t know if it can or can’t, but worrying about it won’t help it either way

Watching porn during reboot can obviously slowdown pied recovery. I have PIED too I guess. Been a pmo addict since 12 year old.
I just couldn't have boner anymore but let's wait until 90 days. I've had occasional boner in the morning during my reboot and it's sign of good recovery.
The point is to stop fantasizing no matter what. It's like watching porn directly and can affect pied recovery

I'm 23 and I just couldn't get it up with normal porn. I need more stimulus and extreme porn to get erect. It's horrible. Normal girl won't make me get horny anymore. It is definitely a sign of PIED. I'm unmarried and virgin. I don't believe in free sex like westerns do. I want to keep my virginity for my one and only wife in the future.

Until then I fight this pmo until my brain returns to normal again. I do this for my life in general and for my post marriage life

If you haven't had sex that then you don't know whether a real girl will do it for you or not yet.

I used to watch porn because I was super freaking horny.

Now I don't know why I watch it but according to my brain it's only 2nd to air on its list of necessities. Is this where most of you are at?

If he’s had to escalate his porn use to get erect then the chances of pied are very, very good. Plus it’s ALL he has ever trained his mind to sexually, a real woman won’t excite him. Not enough, like porn. You literally change your brain when you pmo. The disadvantage you younger guys have is your brain was developing while you are using. It takes many of you longer to heal than the addicts who didn’t have that opportunity when younger.. my husband has 40 years of addiction, however he couldn’t access porn in the same way you could. He could only get magazines and they were few and far between. He’s been clean a year and a half now, and even the physical changes are unbelievable. He didn’t get pied until he was 45 years old, so 35 years of addiction, whereas now you have boys at 18 who discover it won’t work for a real girl!

I was 23 when I discovered I had it but cures it after 3 months or so.
No I'm worried I have it again.
I've been with women a fair bit and probably more so than I have used porn in the last 2/3 years but it's comes and goes at times.

This is the most I've relapsed so definitely worried its back now.

I watch it when I ridiculously horny.
Like yesterday I knew I was really in the mood and got an erection to touch alone.

After that I fell asleep, woke up and was still horny and that what kind of broke me and led to relapse.

I think you're in a better place than I am then which is good - though also makes it more difficult for you to stay away from it.

My libido kind of just tanked one day after binging on porn and the only time I've felt it return to previous levels was after a two month reboot. I hope it is the porn causing this, I mean I get crazy withdrawals after a couple of weeks clean so I obviously have a problem with it at least. I'm starting to wonder now but maybe that's my subconscious trying to trick me.

It doesn’t “ cure” it. It will always come back if you continue to use. Always. As you get older, it will get worse and worse with each relapse. Then you add the anxiety of wondering if it’s back which then causes more pressure on how you will “ perform”. Honestly, pied should be the least of your worries. This addiction will steal your life eventually, like the frog in hot water, you have no idea what harm it’s really doing.

It's always trying too trick you into watching it. This addiction is horrible and will destroy you if you let it.

    I hate PIED but I know it's definitely what I had/have.

Hoping if I'm clean for a few weeks I can start can get some normality back but at this point I definitely think I need to rewire again.

    Why the older I get?
Yeah that's the thing, having no clue what damage I'm doing is very worrying!

We are all test subjects and have no idea to what extent we can heal.
