    Hey,

So a little about me I've been stuck with pron for as long as I remember and want to change, I've attempted a few times along the way I've learned the basics read about the neuro link read the SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION method, also had a successful 30-day streak in October losing around the 32-day mark.

I want to go all the way (full reboot) and hopefully never come back and need any pointers, my biggest issue is waking up in the morning, I believe if I build a morning routine it will help, any suggestions on how not to open my mobile first thing in the morning?

Any advice is welcome, I hate pron yet keep returning to it, after the 30-day streak I felt what could happen if I keep going and don't want to go back.

    Thank you in advance

A Morning routine is a good idea and has helped me a lot
. I leave my phone outside my bedroom at night seems to help and use an alarm clock for my wake-up instead of a phone alarm. mine involves getting up and going straight to the bathroom. Take my vitamins. Then I meditate for 12 mins. Then I eat the same breakfast almost every day. Oatmeal with yogurt and berries. Then I'm ready for the day.

For morning routine, I agree with Casserole. Make a rule for yourself, you’re not allowed to use your phone until you’ve done your morning routine, including breakfast.

For the rest, I just said in a different thread, the things that help me most are exercise, ADD medication, journaling, having good thoughts ready to focus on/distract myself when the urges hit, quit social media, and sleeping with pants on. Figure out what psychological need(s) porn is meeting, and find a way to fill it without porn. And then, serve time and don’t expect to be cured in a week, or a month, or 90 days. Stick to Hard Mode as long as you can, and learn to live without sex or eroticism.

    Spend your time wisely.

Ya I have tried more elaborate ones before but found them tough to stick to. The key for me is keeping it simple so you will actually do it and creating a good habit. It's called a rountine so if you don't do it everyday it doesn't really help. You can always add more once you have mastered it. I know people that work out or go for walks every morning. I would like to try adding that this summer when it gets warm out again.

The best habit to combat PMO, is the study of restart material, study every day, during the day, before sleeping, in our free time; This is the habit par excellence that will help us go from the eternal streak of days to months. Good habits will help cultivate health and of course improve the recovery of the body, however, keeping busy, will not remove the high addiction (to relapse you do not need hours, 5 min is enough), the attraction to PMO is strong, and unites us firmly. By saturating the brain with reset material, thoughts will change, and consequently so will our actions. When we receive a notion long enough, we will end up accepting it. It's kind of brainwashing.... It's like doing laundry, only in this case the dirty thoughts will be washed away.
