I’m so glad to find the NoFap community and I believe eyes are opening to the damage PMO can cause. I read the getting started and it was a real eye opener.
I was married for 20 years. During this time I seldom engaged with porn, except during times was wife was away, when I felt lonely and abandoned. After 20 years of marriage (and 4 wonderful children), and dealing with my wife’s multiple and repeated infidelities and affairs over many years, I reluctantly divorced her. Our divorce was final on the 21st anniversary of the day we met.
Anyhow, over the last few years, particularly since our separation, my porn use has grown and become more serious - terribly lonely right now. Because of this, I became very concerned, and that’s when I found out about NoFap. Now I want to start over with my life, not only with coming to terms with being alone as a “divorced” man, but also with my new commitment to NoFap. I’m doing the Hard Mode since I have no romantic interests in my life, and frankly I hope to keep it that way and live a celibate life.
Anyhow, thank you for having this online community. I hope to be apart of this community, to encourage and be encouraged.
