Welcome! I'm in my 40s too. It's a shock to find yourself in this position, isn't it. Well you are not alone. Check out the 40+ section of the forum. Lots of us there who have similar issues as yourself. Hopefully reading around will help. Good luck!
Well done on taking the step. Apparently a reboot is quicker the older you are if that can be seem as motivation and not a sly dig !;-)
