    Sex can cause a chaser effect, meaning increased urges for a few days. It won't cause you to relapse, but it can tempt you to relapse. See the difference? You're responsible. Nothing makes you relapse except for yourself.

  3. I think it will be no problem. I do have sex with my partner but I don't do P or M. I am at 40 days of no PM. And I am recovering.

    For me, sex help you to overcome PIED.
    I have been PMO for almost 20years. Started PMO when I was 18.

    Been married for 5 years and then I realized I had PIED. Well, did not knew it was PIED back then.

    Try a lot of medicine, massage, special kind of food, spent a lot of money, still had PIED. How frustated. Untill I stumbled upon NoFap and later YBOP, Gary Wilson.

    Have been on no PMO for 300days now, and I can told almost 95% of my PIED cured, well its actually your brain that need to be cured .

    Please learn more about your brain and why you had PIED in the first place. Read everything at YBOP. All the answer is there for you.

    This is from me who was unable to have solid hard wood and and only last for 5 - 10 seconds before ejaculate, to being able to las more than 15-20 minutes.

    I just wanted to share my experience.

    For me, sex isn’t something that should be avoided... the problem is porn. After years of porn use and issues with DE I knew I had to change something. Stopping PM but continuing to have a healthy sex life with my partner has been very beneficial. Seeing the improvement week after week thanks to zero PM has been so beneficial. Everybody is different and will experience different results, so a bit of trial and error helps. So keep off the PM and enjoy a very healthy sexlife with your gf.good luck.

    I'm having regular sex with my SO during all my streak. I don't think you should avoid, ESPECIALLY if you are in a relationship. This can creates problems, that in turn can cause you to go back to pmo.

    3 advices:
    - Be present on the sex;
    - DON'T FANTASIZE;
    - Beware of the chaser effect after orgasming. The brain cain interpret it as "urge to pmo", when in reality it isn't nothing of the sort.

    People quit having sex. You know why? Because sex is one of the things that are going to improve THE MOST when you quit. You need to value the good side to quit, not the bad one (symptoms, PIED, brain fog, etc).

    Keep going!
