And I realized I only want to PMO when I worry or have anxiety. How can I overcome the urge to PMO when I stress?

Hi, there's lots of perspectives on this, and is something I for one could talk all day with you about;) but to save me doing a load of typing see if anything in the links below help with this which are all mainly about intercepting anxious/addictive thoughts etc and converting them into something more constructive/beneficial. Hope you find something in there that helps with this?:)

Hi You could do a simple breathing technique, that I posted about in another thread. just inhale, exhale, and then allow the next inhale to happen without forcing or controlling it in any way.

in the slight gap between the outbreath, and the inbreath, is where the emotion underneath the worry/anxiety is.

keep doing the technique, and the anxiety will get a bit worse before the other emotion overrides it, then carry on until the other emotion has passed.
Hope this helps, you can do this anywhere.
