So I'm on day 11 on NoFap and this is probably my highest streak so far (which is pretty awful tbh) even though i started like 2 months ago. I am experiencing increased motivation mainly in working out and I feel like im thinking rationally a lot more. But I started to feel more anxious in and I'm always in my head. For me that can be really tiring and kind of sad idk. I just want to know is this normal and will it go away with time if i keep on doing nofap?

    Hello.
It's normal. It can be flatline, your brain is currently trying to fix himself from all that damage that you've done by watching porn and masturbating. There will be days when you will be feeling like giving up, full of anxiety and self-doubt. It's temporary. If you're going through hell, keep going. There was a time in my journey when I was too afraid to get out of my bed and go to school. I was literally afraid to contact with people. While I was walking down the street I was thinking if someone would hurt me, or something like that... That shows what porn really is. It's fucking poison. So don't overthink that, keep your head up, and be proud of yourself.
    Take care.

Hello :) Congratulations on your 11day streak:emoji_grinning: :emoji_clap: Don't mind the anxiousness we all go through it. Its just the brain trying to adjust to the new you. It will go away completely as you gain true confidence and control over anxiety. It would be a good idea to journal your progress down. Like every time you feel anxious, whip out your phone or journal and just note down what is going on. For instance "walked in late for a meeting, felt anxious and a tad guilty because i took a longer lunch break" :emoji_blush:

Rebooting is very taxing on the brain as it does not like to change. The brain gets very restless because we dont feed it the usual dose of dopamine through pmo. So like a whiny baby that wants attention:emoji_baby: the brain is just trying to get you to give it some dopamine.

You are doing great. Keep it up <3
