    Hi all,

I'm wondering what it feels like when you've completely rebooted. So far, I haven't seen any concrete description of what it would be.

I've imagined it several ways: 1) I stop having the urge to watch porn ever again, and everything is hunky dory forever. 2) I still get urges, but I can get off without porn, or at least not the really messed up shit I'm into.

The thing is, at the root of all of us, there is sexual need that's not going away, unless we resort to castration. How does rebooting ultimately "cure" this primordial need for venereal stimulation?

    Best,

  2. talking from my 120 days PMO free I can tell you I don't see guys as stuff to have sex with but like people. I don't fantasise about scenes I have watched in my 7 years of porn. My urges to p and sex are coming now back but i know only because i m going to do some important exams

so whenever i feel afraid of failure i used to turn to sex and porn. I used to but not now anymore coz I associate porn and my sex addictions to the feelings that always left me (depression, sadness, loneliness, shame, guilt, boredom)

I haven't experience the sex part after my reboot. Being also a sex addict, I dunno for sure but I assume i would be able to have normal sex not "porn sex" any longer
congrats on your 17 days of reboot and keep going, welcome to the forum :) :emoji_bouquet:

Thanks for the reply, Phoenix! I was going through one of the hardest withdrawals for the past 2 days, and I've seriously been reconsidering rebooting. I've past that bump for now, so hopefully I'll be able to recall your words when I hit my next stretch of withdrawals.

  4. Keep fighting! And get busy when you feel triggered (go for a walk, hang out with friends, workout do healthy activities)

Also I have been using a free app called R Tribe where I check in everyday before going to sleep and I put my thoughts. It's been very useful especially in my first 30 days

    You can do it :)

  5. It does. Porn fuckes up males and females in the same way. I used to think about sex 24/7. I had to stop. Best decision ever :) I now feel in control of myself
