Spin for Android

As many of you know, I am back to NoFap. I am doing my best to stay active when possible, but sometimes it is hard. One thing I did of the recent to help me with my struggle is add blockers to my phone and computer.

Why would a veteran fighter do such a thing you ask? Simple, we are only as strong as our weakest moment. That is why a clinic is so powerful for recovering addicts, you simply don't have access to the substance. Well the same goes for us. However, many of us lead very successful and busy lives, of which can aid in us getting as many calendar days between us and PMO as possible, so we often need our devices.

I recently stumbled across spin browser, now I am not affiliated in anyway with this app, other than the enormous help it has had for me the past 2 weeks as I begin my reboot a second time. I would highly encourage all of you to add it, it works really well. Designed by Mozilla it even filters out the P related sites at tumblr, to my unfortunate knowledge of first hand testing. It is well worth it.

So how do you set it up? Well first, if you have an android phone most likely you use either chrome, mozilla, or the pre-installed internet app. Some of you may even use the "GoogleNow" widget as I do. No problem! Firstly, you have to remember that taking the spin route won't stop you from using another browser, its not perfect. But here is what I recommend. Firstly, remove the defaults to your old browser through settings. Secondly, disable/uninstall your current internet app. YOU NEED to get it out of your site, or you will be tempted. Lastly, install the app linked above, set your web defaults to go to that app. Because it is designed by mozilla, it works great. Then, begin to operate as normal with the assurance that while your sitting on the thorn bored, browsing your phone, when that urge hits you, there is 2 additional layers between you and failure. Not only will you have to reinstall the old app, but you have to intentionally circumvent the Spin app.

Personally, incognito was killing me. It is how I always convinced myself to look up P material, and spin removes that from my temptation as well.
