Take THAT, social anxiety!

In other news ...

I just had a former FWB text me that she was close by and having margaritas, and asked if she could come over. She said all the things that my addicted brain loves to hear ... and I politely and gently turned her down.

There's no way I could have done this when I was fully in my addiction. Here I am, breaking through social anxiety, and refusing things that I know aren't healthy for me (i.e. casual hookups). What the hell is happening to me? I'm becoming the man I want to be, that's what.
