    Day 2 done, half way through Day 3 today...

    My daughter (aged 10) and I are ridiculously excited about the upcoming RISE OF SKYWALKER movie that last night we started watching all the STAR WARS movies again ready for December. Yes, we made it through Episode 1 and Jah Jah Binks :D We're doing them in the chronological order:

    • Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999)
    • Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002)
    • Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005)
    • Solo (2018)
    • Rogue One (2016)
    • Episode IV: A New Hope (1977)
    • Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
    • Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi (1983)
    • Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015)
    • Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (2017)
    • Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
    Anyone else done or doing this?

    I certainly have done that in the past. I did a marathon last May for Star Wars Day. I'm debating whether I want to do a full marathon or just watch The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi in preparation for The Rise of Skywalker. There's a lot of Star Wars media coming out in the latter half of the year and I don't want to burn myself out.

    Well done!

    I almost relapsed last night, guys...

    I remembered one of my favourite videos last night as I was lying in bed. I managed to go to sleep, but I feel weak right now.

    Dude, there is so much wisdom from the Star Wars movies that are relevant to our situation, particularly with Luke and Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back. I sometimes call this scene to mind when I am struggling with temptation. The idea that the dark side is "quicker, easier, more seductive" than the path of a Jedi. It's a wonderful message and very much relevant to our temptation to binge porn until we are numb instead of facing down our demons, getting our work done, and living a good life.
