Tired Of Pornography

Hello, is there anyone out there as tired of pornography as I am, and want to stop cold turkey ?

Here it is im 25 years old and haven't been in a relationship since I was 20 . I don't make a plan to watch porn, but have become
Addicted over the years .

I usually watch it when I'm feeling lonely, depressed, or bored. It's just the false sense of having the woman you desire without any real connection and I'm sick of it .

 

I'm 40+ days into abstinence and porn is definitely starting to lose its appeal. The fakeness of all sexual images is starting to become apparent.

IMO, developing better alternative ways to get pleasure would be helpful. I made up a "fun" list one time and what I found out is that I'm not very good at having fun. All work and no play makes a person PMO-prone?

 

Maybe try to plan things every 5-9 days (or sooner) like day trips or volunteering. And since you know of some triggers put the phone/ computer away during those times and run, meditate or take a cold shower. Just find someway to get away from being around devices alone.

It's natural to want sex nothing wrong with that. But the real desire is wanting a woman you can have to cherish a true relationship with. Feelings,Compassion, Respect ,You view them as a gold most possessed trophy

 

Like how you said "lack of" but see with a real women sex isn't like what we see on sights or people uploading porn . It's about a real connection
