Too old for a new start. Loneliness is crashing me...

    I was disappointed too. He sounded like he had a lot to give even though he wasn't here for the same reasons as most of us. His posts showed a lot of strength, wisdom and kindness. He said he had found some company in another forum. Maybe he felt more comfortable elsewhere, but whatever his reasons were, I wish him well also.

    He deleted, and he still alive. Well he was last Friday. we have had some chat private. He did not explained why but he sounded ok when he last time send me a message.
    I think he might founded that somebody he looked for…

    It was a charming story about loneliness, even though he might not have seen it like that. The bluntness and geniality of his words showed nothing less than an honest need for advice and assurance. Hope he left with what he was looking for.

    His story about his mother was very moving, and the situation with his heart condition. He made it clear from the outset that he came here to ease his loneliness rather than a need for advice. But anyhow, he seems to have left happier than when he arrived. A little kindness/assurance goes a long way when your down.

    Thank you for your kind words, my friend. I do plan to stay... I felt homeless away from the site.
    I'm not sure the sanity of the rest of you depends at all on my being here or not. There are some who would prefer me gone. I hope I'm not too much of a bother to them if I stick around....

    Stay or don’t stay it is up to you, it is a free world. You have to let your feelings dictate what you need to do, not other peoples feelings.
    But it is no doubt a great feeling to receive lots of support.
