I’m really surprised , I was doing PMO every day (two times a day on coronadays)
but I have been enduring for 8 days now.o_O
I mean it's my first strike and i haven't reseted yet
It would be great if I could know the reason.

  2. You have to ask yourself why you want to abstain from porn. If you don't really have a good reason and deep down you don't think PMO is a big deal, you don't have a goal to strive towards and therefore won't be motivated or having the will to go after your goal.

Most of us who want to abstain from porn have reached a point where our compulsive behavior is getting out of control and if it continues we will hurt ourselves and others. My reason for quitting porn is for myself, i can easily say it's for my girlfriend or some other thing that makes me come across is selfless, but that won't motivate or give me a strong reason to stop. Because if I get mad at someone or my belief is shaken, I can easily go back to porn. I am abstaining from porn, because i want to end the suffering i put myself through. I get such a hungry urge to look and masturbate, but afterwards I would have a lot of regret and shame. That regret and shame turns into anger I have towards myself which in turn makes me feel bad about myself. When i feel bad about myself, it's difficult to enjoy things and be happy. You also are reluctant to go out and be social/connect with other people. I've gone through years where the negative feelings I had, held me back, it held me back from having more friends, dating, doing well in school, meeting my goals, etc.
Anyways, I know i ranted a lot but bottom line is you have to know what your reason for abstaining from porn. Maybe you don't have one now and that's ok. But when you do, you'll have more will and motivation to stop.
