Like you said in your original post, you said you would consider getting rid of your smartphone? That would be a good idea. I used to be into some messed up stuff, in the end I got rid of all my technology and the Internet for one year. It really helped reset my brain

I think about this so much and I can’t wait until I’ve accomplished this. “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new- Socrates”

It seems like a very hard task because I must Keep up with school and so many other things that require device usage. I think reducing my smartphone screen time would be the best option.

Yes, practically speaking it sounds like you need some kind of access to the Internet. That's what frustrates me about modern living, we all need to be online.
The best apps I have tried on android are the following.

*** - this is a great app for blocking porn, you can block specific keywords and websites, if you try to access them it will alert your accountability partner and he have to send you a code to access it. It's a real deterent believe me.

Digital Detox app- this is a great app too, it blocks your phone and it only allows access to certain apps that you choose. You can set up to 30 days and to escape the detox you have to pay the developer money, which is a real deterent.

If you have an apple device then you can set up parental controls in the settings and let someone create a code for you, blocking certain websites or only allowing certain websites.

Of course healthy habits help too, a good diet, exercise, sleep, breathing methods etc.

When I quit in in 2014 I was into some crazy stuff, I was in the pits. For the first few weeks I just focused on getting rid of the porn from my life, then the quitting masturabtion was next.

thanks for being so helpful. I’ve deleted apps that easily get me triggerEd and working on focus & determination to quit for good. 2014 is such a long time however, it seems so great! Good one

    Hello bro,
Our addicted brains will always look for novelty and the most extreme porn videos in order to fill our minds. You can install a porn blocker or you could go outside just for a walk when the urge attacks in order to avoid relapses.
I am new on this too and i would like to contact you in order to share tips and improve.

Like sometimes I’m doing something important & idk what gets me triggered but I’d want to visit porn so bad!!!! Like few moments before coming on here right now. I’m trying to make coming on here a substitute for visiting porn sites. May our journey be successful

  9. Trans porn has never really been my thing, but I think it has something to do with the prevalence of close up camera shots on the male genitals in professional porn. Camera shots usually consist of the female body and extreme focus on the guy's weiner and that's what a lot of people are fapping to, your brain is essentially being conditioned to be turned on by the sight of a big penis (if you're straight) so even straight guys that aren't turned on by the male physique will have a part of them that gets turned on by the penis on top of the female form, so I can logically see the jump to trans porn.

The cinematography is also one of the huge aspects of porn. I’m really saddened that I let my brain me conditioned to this falsified idea of sex. I wish I learnt about sex Much more naturally and desirably.

  11. Try not to let it get you down. Your acquired taste for transwoman porn and sissification might not ever completely disappear, but the longer you stay away from that type of porn the weaker effects will be. Also, more natural sexual interests will start to become more appealing again. Just make sure to stay away from transwoman and sissification content. I assure you in 90 days you'll notice those thoughts you have about pornography and those transwoman fantasies won't be nearly as prevalent. I never made it 90 days myself, but my last streak was 60 days and there was a night and day difference with the prevalence of those thoughts then and now since I've relapsed. :(

  12. This theory doesn't hold up. I've never jerked off to a video where a guy has sex with a girl, but I've seen hundreds of trans vids. How can you explain that?

So I have done some research into this subject and I’ll share in hopes it will ease your mind. So if I remember correctly, 80% viewers of trans p are straight men. Reason being isn’t a change in sexuality at all, it has to do with the fact that the models have exaggerated feminine qualities which draws the eye, combine that with the surprise underneath and you get a cocktail of anxiety and novelty that gives you a big dopamine dump. Many polls suggest once you stop viewing this content your preferences go back to factory settings.

  14. Haha, well I tried to think of something that might explain it... Were you into any type of porn before trans stuff? I'm guessing you mostly just watching female masturbating, right? I do find it odd that you'd end up finding trans porn interesting if you weren't conditioned to find penis stuff attractive assuming you don't find males attractive. I can't really think of anything that would explain why you became engrossed with that type of porn otherwise. I guess we can just sum it up as the human condition and everything encompassed by it is complex sexuality and conditioning included.

I wish you success on getting back on track. 60 is so motivating. I’m still on my streak but I’m completing the 7 days challenge first. Currently at Day 1

  16. Honestly it gets a lot easier after the chaser effect disappears. The most important part is managing the urges. If you can exercise, or try focusing on something else when they hit. For myself, I'd always tell myself that the urges are temporary and I used a metaphor where I likened them wounds healing. The scabs are itchy (urges) but that's just the healing process doing its job. You won't heal correctly if you keep picking off the scabs!

Smart!! I Actually just got out of sleep and it’s like 2;30 am so urges are surging!! That’s why I came on here, I’m trying to make this my distraction by readin posts and watching other threads, I hope I’m strong enough

  18. Yeah coming here when the urges are strong helps too! If you want I can PM you some Nofap videos that help me when I have strong urges!

  19. Yeah it's super weird and complicated. I only watched one or two main categories before moving to trans porn and that was solo female/lesbian. Had tons of fantasies about being dominated by women before I even knew what sex was. Never got into femdom though. Went like this: jerking off to nothing > lesbian porn > lesbian strapon stuff > trans > vore (as of now, 98% of all the content I've watched is vore). You could say that there is some trend of escalation, but I just see it as discovering new things and developing my tastes.

I always found trans porn to be so enticing because somewhere deep down it eliminates the anxiety that gets stirred up by seeing beautiful women. I'm naturally comfortable with men and feel little anxiety around them compared to females. So by combining the appearance of a beautiful woman, as I don't find the more masculine looking transgendered people attractive, with the knowledge that the mindset of the person is fundamentally male and therefore more understanding and in tune with me as a masculine being, I can be both at ease and aroused. Which for me is a dangerous combination. Also it is easier to not care what a man thinks, but my anxiety makes me care more than I should about what women think of me.

I'm sure there is more to it than that, but that's what I've uncovered through self-reflection so far.
