I've been feeling pretty horrible these last few days. I was kinda expecting a withdrawal flatline and all of these negative thoughts, really. But what I didn't know was: now that I'm starting to drift away from pmo addiction. I'm starting to realize that's only one of my problems. I get like these anxiety attacks, it's not like worry for the future or that an earthquake will destroy my city, nothing like that. My brain likes to connect two things together that may or may not be true.

When I piece two things together, I'm just trying to say yeah it's just my brain rebooting, but idk man. Feeling pretty bad right now, a lot of negative thoughts and it feels like I'll never have fun again. Maybe I'm just overreacting and everything will be fine in a few days. I'm trying my best to stay strong.

Im on day 83 but i still feel down, thats withdrawl. I see that here they dont realy talk about withdrawl because they compare it with flatline. Yeh its pretty same but withdrawl os worse, much longer and scarry af.

Oh wow paws? I thought that was after a lot longer streak. But yeah I agree with both of you this sucks. It kind of feels like melancholy, where it's random, but the cause is withdrawal. Going to just let time work this out. Things are going to get better!

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. In my worst days of recovery I was having those blue moments in which I was borderline paranoid over some things. Good news is that things will get better. Now, not only I am addiction free but these symptoms (PAWS) have significantly subsided. They are still present but are fading away. You need to learn to recognize that current brain chemistry might mess up your thinking and that what you are thinking in those blue moments might not be the reality.

This is all amazing stuff you will learn about yourself. You probably had those moments before but not to such extreme. Things might get worse before they get better. Working out has helped me bear with all that crap.

Paws doesn't go away just after a few days. It can possibly be a year and be really on and off. Either way whatever it is for you its just withdrawal of some kind, It could last a while but you just have to keep fighting it.

    Stay strong man! Good luck!

Going on 11 days now and I've also had some anxiety from starting my nofap journey. For me it was mostly related to my urges and feeling anxious wanted to relapse, but I just try to push through it and focus on my end goals. Even though your anxiety is related more towards real life and your relationships, this anxiety obviously is stemming from you rebooting so just know it will get better the more you fight it. In general I would just advise you to try and stay out of youe own head, if you start to delve into these negative feelings pick up some healthy habits to distract yourself. Like the obvious ones, exercise, I would advise going to the gym to be active, not as much walking or running because walking and running gives you a whole lot of time to think. Also in general, remember that no matter what you do you cant control what happens in the lives of other people, only your own. If you consciously work to do good and make good decisions and do the right thing, regardless if the outcome may be negative you shouldnt regret actions you believed to be right. Everything is different in hindsight, but dont forget your mindset when you make your decisions. Everyone makes mistakes, but if you always try to do what you believe is right then you can always have that peace of mind. For your story with the bible, everyone has their own spiritual beliefs and you giving them a bible probably didnt make much of a difference of them coming to their own conclusions. Moreover, them not being spiritual may not have anything to do with their general happiness or well being, just because you may be religious and they arent doesnt mean you made any mistakes. Be confident and stand by your decisions!

Yeah I agree 100%. I talked to my Mom yesterday about everything that was going on, and I feel a lot better.
