You should delete your favorite videos first, because these are the ones which will make you cling to porn the most. Remember, these girls don't even know you, you are just one of thousands or millions of fappers along the way. Moreover, you don't even know them, you know just the face they make for the camera.

Same thing here... I have not deleted it yet... some pretty good stuff there LOL
But it's tucked away and I haven't even thought about it for the last 16 days!
I'll manage to throw it away eventually.

Pain of "loss" now, or self-sabotage later. Your choice.

  5. Very true. I've gone through it. Delete, reload, delete, reload, an embarrassing number of times.

    Done with that game.

Get rid of it and keep away from it afterwards.

  6. Delete it. It may be the critical factor in the case that you will be trying to keep balance on the edge and not fall again.
You mean it seriously, or not. Choice is yours.

Yeah, with the right mindset, the "loss" that one may fear actually turns out as a relief. Closure. A step forward.

You can't get to home plate without leaving the certainty of being on the 3rd base plate.

You can't swim up to the surface without letting go of the anchor that's sinking you further down.

You can't create more space for better things in your life if you don't clean the space first.

You can't have a new identity and a new life if you're not willing to let go of the old familiar crutches and venture forward beyond your current comfort zone.

You might be able to avoid the stash, but you're still resisting it. Which means it will continue to persist in your life. You won't need to avoid or resist it anymore if you create a new identity with better problems.

"If I delete my stash I'll eventually relapse." is a rule / limitation / identity that you created.

If you want a better life, then let go of that. Create a life that has better things to worry about.

It's not supposed to be comfortable or easy. Porn was crutch that you used to escape the uncomfortable and difficulties of your life. So this is an opportunity to be able to handle reality without escaping it. To stay with the pain, problems, and negative experiences longer until you come out of it a better person.

Porn will always be conveniently available and reality will always have the potential to be difficult, uncomfortable, and scary. So either you condition yourself to be able to handle reality or continue to escape it.

The only thing you’re losing is the freedom you will obtain by getting rid of it.

Delete it. It was the most important step in my last streak, which was (for a long time) a pretty complete recovery. Collecting huge amounts of porn makes very little sense, even if someone is not quitting pmo. I even deleted the material I made together with my wife over the years. Depictions are not as valuable as the real thing, and keeping the porn is to plan to use it. Rare porn only has value for a P user who has escalated to the point of needing highly novel material. The value they place on it is also mistaken, as it only serves as another link in the chains binding them to their addiction.

Good luck with making this bold step forwards in your recovery.

That's an addicts reasoning. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. Delete the filthy trove of porn - how does clinging to this nasty stash of images help you to control your lust? It's madness. You have to send a message to yourself that you are serious about radically amputating this behavior from your life. Do not show it any mercy.
