Catching back up! Based on my count, I reached the halfway point (Day 7!) I've been so busy, I didn't even notice... Funny thing: Yesterday, I ended up in a Twitter conversation about porn. I was agreeing with the leader of the Fraternity of Excellence, a group I'm in, who said that porn destroys, more than it helps "relieve" tension. There were people debating that porn is necessary. I asked: In what world is porn better than ACTUAL SEX? Anyway, every thing is everything. Been REALLY busy because of all of the "I'm going to conquer my part of 2018" activities, so I haven't really thought about P, M, or O...though things are getting a little more active down there (aka morning tent)
Most people focus on the "sex" part of NoFap, but don't realize that it's part of a much bigger goal (becoming a better you). You're starting to realize that. Use it to the fullest.
Love what you're doing, man! If you can, start exercising as well (even if it's just one pushup a day) You're building a foundation for the next version of yourself, so do everything you can to make that foundation strong!
Rebooting will take you down some weird paths. You did something real important, though. You caught yourself going down the path that you won't go down (for right now). That means your body and mind are learning. Keep going to reach that next level of awesome.
My advice: Stop worrying about what you ALWAYS do. I fell into this trap many times. I would be OK until the second week and then get so much tension I felt that I HAD to M. Then I entered a period in my life where I got really busy (exercise, work, etc.) that I easily passed the second week and went on to 25 days. I still have more challenges to go on my NoFap challenges, but I'm learning that it's best NOT to focus on NoFap so much that it causes you to fail. Focus on getting up, doing what you have to do at work (or school or whatever), and start building the kind of life you want. You'll be so busy (trust me!) that you won't have time to focus on how you fail. You might "mess up" every now and then, but those mistakes won't be a defining part of your life anymore. That is the goal, not to beat a challenge (though that helps), but to conquer awesome.
Sometimes I do feel that I think about it way too much and the relapse inevitability happens, like yesterday. I do appreciate your outlook and will be more like you this time around!!
Couldn't log in yesterday so doing it today. Day 3: Tough day. Barely held on. Day 4: Slightly better.
Well firstly you've completed the 7 day challenge so congratulations! But yes you would begin again from day 1 for the 14 day challenge. However, when you complete it you would have done 3 weeks on nofap which is not easily done!
