  1. Well the respect and gratitude is mutual my friend, you've been the beating heart of this challenge, always ready to inspire and help everyone. That's the kind of person that can be a great GOW.

    Anyway day 1(13) early checking.
    So today:
Woke up early (6 30 am)
Hit the gym (3 hours training)
    Did some chores
    Studied around 1 hour.
By now in Italy is 12 15.
The only thing I didn't do yet today?
    Switching on the phone.
In the afternoon will hit the library.
Stay strong spartans in the first weekend of the year.
    It can be tricky.
    But we are strong

You are a warrior. You are resilient.

Keep going. You can do this, one day at a time.

You are part of something special.

  4. check in Day 11...currently , there is significantly less depression ,and even though my holidays are ending and i wished that they had been more productive , i am still happy that i did go out of home for solo walks and also to spend time with family (to of my favorite activities) , tried to maintain my exercise routine , and also did some satisfactory preparation for my exam retake.....i hope ,my coming school days will be great....

    I will attest.

I feel like I am part of something special. A family. A close brotherhood.

I feel like we have come together and formed a unique bond: random men from random places, from all walks of life, supporting and encouraging each other via an Internet thread.

For me this is inspiring. It is life changing. And I will never forget it. :)

@Kratos_GOW I share in your thinking.

I have a lot more energy, and I am able to train with a high level of intensity and focus. On weekends I usually ride my mountainbike to the gym, lift weights, do cardio, then ride back to my place, yet I am rarely ever tired or sore afterwards, despite training in the gym for 2 hours, almost always 5 times a week.

Also, I have become a morning person, waking up as early as 5 AM, feeling rejuvenated, even on the occasional nights in which I don't sleep well. The past few nights I haven't slept well, yet I still have maintained a high level of energy and focus throughout the day. And, I cannot remember the last time I had to use an alarm clock to wake up.

On November 30, 2019, my ex-wife, whom I hadn't seen in awhile, asked me if I had whitened my teeth.

Another thing: I swear that my vision has improved. I wear contacts, and my eyes used to feel sore after staring in front of a computer screen for several hours. Over the past few months, however, I rarely ever recall my eyes feeling sore, or dry, or scratchy. I have spent 8+ hours a day at work in front of my computer screen, and my eyes don't feel sore at all.

It's going to be interesting revisting my eye doctor, because I feel like I can see clearer, and further, and that my contact lenses rarely ever feel uncomfortable. It's like I'm not even wearing contacts.

I've been looking at your suggested article "Soaring Eagle Translated by HMHU" ... and I think it's just very useful and helps us to keep improving ...

It helped me with a deeper understanding. Everyone should read it. Can you upload it here so everyone can get access to it?

You are at the start of your streak so I suggest don't add too many activities for now. Make a routine, add 2 habits max in your time. And one thing you can do often is smile. No matter how hard or depressing the time is, U deal it will smiling. Trust me, it works. I am doing it too. Good luck.

Day 56 feeling a bit more energy these days and I can actually feel myself healing from this, without meaning to sound graphic the wet dreams are back with a vengeance haha, I never had any in my teens and now I know it was because of the constant PMO! Life really is so much better without PMO, life is real again

Congratulations! You resisted, and that's growth.

I was with you yesterday: I struggled, and I managed to resist the urges, but I spent much time yesterday feeling stressed, anxious, and angry.

And I noticed, the more I clinged to negativity, the more I recalled, in my mind, and with fond remembrance, my past sexual "conquests," so I had to keep reminding myself yesterday that a few seconds of self-induced pleasure is never to going match the sense of joy, purpose, and strength that I have been feeling from living life anew.

I also prayed to God, several times, to help me be more understanding and accepting, and to "forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us."

One day at a time my friend.

  19. Me too. Even though I relapsed last week, I have never felt more support than I have when checking in and updating here. Part of my motivation is to check in and not let my brothers down with my progress.

even reading other brothers posts is the inspiration to continue and I feel so much better and my mind set has never been more accountable and determined.

my dog woke me up an hour ago before the wife so I let her out and went to the patio. The sun was just rising, and for these ten minutes with my dog and the sunrise, this meditation was the perfect example of life being so amazing and feeling grateful for everything in life, all while with “Big Casino” by Jimmy Eat World playing in my head - ‘before this world starts up again, it’s me and night, we wait for the sun, the kids and drunks head back inside...back I was younger I was someone you’ve liked...”

    checking in DAY 8.
