I randomly started what turned out to be a chick flick "The Kiss Quotient" but had to stop cause the sexual descriptions do not mix well with the NoFap challenge!
Iliad, Omero History of Rome, Indro Montanelli The Age of Extremes, Eric J. Hobsbawm (Finaly i am able to handle more than a book in a row)
The nichomachean ethics by Aris doodle. it's a dry read but easy enough to follow along with. Not the most interesting thing in the world but still alright. I definitely want to re-read Bronze aged mindset at some point, it was one of the most interesting philosophy books I'd read in a while and I definitely didn't pick up everything from the first read.
Last book : Boyhood - Leo Tolstoy Actually reading: Youth - Leo Reading and Pride and prejudice - Jane Austen Next read: Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte and Mrs Dalloway - Virginia Woolf / Picture of Dorian gray - Oscar Wilde
I like crime and detective novels of agatha christie If some of you know other good author please tell me
I guess you have already read Sherlock Holmes, if not he is the greatest detective character in my opinion, ihave read a study in scarlet and sign of four, except that i recommend you to read, murder in the rue morgue - Edgar Alan Poe
No Easy Day by Mark Owen. It's about the bin Laden raid in Abbottabad. I used to love watching Father Brown on television. Have you seen the series? Try the Nero Wolfe series by Rex Stout. I just read The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. Good stuff...
mystic river/shutter island by lehane dennis ------------------------- This is not something that i am currently reading but i like it and having read it a while back i haven't really found anything quite like it so i welcome recommendation : gone (novel serie) by Michael Grant basically lord of the flies in a more modern setting(and better characters imo) and do not let the fact that it is about teenagers keep you away, it's gold.
Right now I'm in the middle of the New Jedi Order Series if any of y'all know what that is: specifically Agents of Chaos II: Jedi Eclipse
The last book I read was "Your Brain On Porn by Gary Wilson (RIP) really insightful book with a lot of research to back it up. It really helps you look at things from the perspective of how much this addiction is literally changing our brains. I am actually reading The Philosophy Book: Big Ideas Simply Explained by Will Buckingham. I just started the book but I am really enjoying this. I've read some of the classical philosophy books but I wish I would've read this book first. I love how how in detail he gets with everything. Again, I just started reading the book but I love how it's easy to read and really thought provoking. Next book: Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Compassion by Marshall B. Rosenberg
Just started reading a book that combines Haruki Murakami's first two novellas together; Hear the Wind Sing and Pinball 1973. I am enjoying the first one so far. I actually read A Wild Sheep Chase before these, as I did not realise it is technically a sequel to these two novellas, but apparently you dont need to have read these to understand it anyway.
