12 days I feel absolutely great. I finalized changes in my life and I really feel happy! I know I will rid PMO use from my life, and I’m grateful to be helping people right now for a job on campus! I’m really happy for myself right now, and I trust in this fellowship! You got this!
Day 32 Guys need some suggestions for grooming! (I'm a newbie pls don't think I'm crazy, I'm in need of it, I have no one to guide ) Can anyone give me some insights or ideas or information about where to start
16 days Low urges yesterday, worked almost all the day. My side projects are starting to stress me, so I have to handle the stress in a smart way, any suggestions? Today I worked out and took a semi cold shower. Keep strong my brothers.
Thank God, day 344!!! That means in about 3 weeks i m gonna reach the "one year" goal. Many days passed. That make it easier day by day. Easier to avoid M and O, not P although. Porn is in every corner. Trying to play with your mind, to mess with you, to crap all your progress. Always aware for triggers.
Well sometimes I think a more specific benefit helps me. For example when I first joined I wanted to do nofap so I could actually have a chance to have normal dynamics with girls and not have PIED, creepy vibes and stuff like that. I was tired of being rejected and feeling like a lonely outcast. When I felt tempted to relapse, or felt like it was no longer worth it I remembered why I was doing it and the pain of being rejected so much which motivated me to keep going. I did a LOT better back then compared to how I preform now because without realizing I forgot why I was doing nofap and lost a lot of purpose here. @Baki Hanma Keep going! You seem like you have been very successful at ridding it from your life so far. You are an inspiration. @God_in_hell What do you mean by grooming? Like hair/beard kinda stuff? I tend to shave a couple times a week, so I'm usually rocking the light stubble look which works for me.
Hello everyone 2021 was a great year because I hit a 203 days streak But after I relapsed a year ago I’ve dive straight in this addiction Today I decided to back to the Fellowship and restart my journey humbly so day 0
Week 7 check in - have crashed down with illness due to pushing too hard - now I need to rest while keep vigilant of any urges that arise - I relapsed badly the last time I crashed and recovered (urges are strong after recovering from illness). No excuses - I know the pitfalls into which I have fallen before, so now is the time to avoid them and push on through Christmas!
Same here. I call it "lazy man's beard". Long beard requires much attention, so that it wouldn't look ridiculous. Looking clean requires shaving every day - too much struggle. So, two times a week it is.
5 days - With rain and fog you enter the old village of Bree. welcome back @skyfighter Amazing 203 days you had there. I'm sure you can do it again!
13 days – The PMO forces were at your tail but you crossed the Ford of Bruinen, leaving them behind. The House of Elrond is in sight! Looking forward to being an Elf! Yesterday was kinda hard on me but I got through it, and this morning and a couple of seconds ago, well really still - I am struggling through some urges. Thankfully they’re small, I went through the big ones! I know that seeing it in a positive light is way more helpful! Im gonna carry on with my day now the best I can! I really feel more connected to this/my moment in life recently.
Checking in Fellowship Friends! 155 Days Free of PMO Set gradual tasks for improvements brothers, do not seek to overwhelm yourself by adding too much on your plate. You are already contending with addiction, micro tasks/wins will help you along the journey. Stay Strong! 155 days - In a trolls´ cave, you found Orcrist, the Goblin-cleaver. An elven sword from Gondolin. It has a beautiful scabbard, jeweled hilt and runes which bear its name. @God_in_hell From the most basic, I would say make sure you're brushing and flossing your teeth. A tongue scrapper may be beneficial too. As others have mentioned, if you are to grow a beard your are going to need to put in work to maintain, there are pomades and beard oil that would be helpful. As far as your hair goes, try to get a cut that suits you. Look up mens hairstyles, figure out your face shape and hair type. A nice fade around and in the back works well too, I typically do this myself. Also, the right product for your hair/look you are going for, pomade, clay or gel. Make sure you use deodorant /cologne. Things that are not overly strong in smell. If you have an insane amount of body hair, perhaps consider to buy a body trimmer, to help groom that as well. Try to wear clothes that match your age. When you're in the office, it's okay to dress up a bit (i.e suit tie/pocketsquare). We've become way too lax with the way we dress. @muhagg Welcome!
