    Day 133

Things are going really really well compared to when I started this challenge: I sleep (very) peacefully, wake up refreshed and confident, relaxed and am productive at everything I do.
Since I've kicked out my TV and not use my phone and laptop after 8PM and only allow myself to walk, read a book or just be with myself / meditate I noticed I start feeling tired around 9PM. I now go to bed at around 10PM and wake up refreshed around 6AM. The electronic devices at night kept me awake longer than my natural circadian rithm preferred. Now that I do not have that stimulus I feel much better following my natural rithm.

Major improvements I now feel compared to the first few weeks in December last year:
    - Much much better sleep
    - Able to read a lot better: Just after relapse I could hardly motivate myself to read 2 pages in one sitting, now I read about 300/400 pages per week next to a fulltime job, 4x gym, 2x dancing, etc.)
    - Much much more focus, productivity and enjoyment at work, in the gym and at dancing classes
    - More peace of mind: I can enjoy myself perfectly by just sitting on my sofa for a couple of hours after a productive day (working, training, etc.)
    - Zero urges, absolutely zero. I sometimes have a slight thought about visiting an escort site. But I almost immediately loose interest by just reminding myself how disgusting, dangerous and most of all disrespectful it is to myself

And I am now dating a woman who is not even close to what I always strived for physically (due to my porn (ab)use) but now I still find attractive, have great and intimate sex with and just enjoy being with or hugging / touching. I feel now much more sensitive to the subtle real things in life now my brain is less desensitized by porn.

And since there are some gym rats here as well. I'd also boast a bit about my gym PR's. I am now 38, only 172cm (5"7) and not even 84 kg (185 pounds). But I managed to set some nice lifts:
185 kg squat, 250 kg deadlift and a 140 kg bench press all with still a bit of strength left in the tank. Will go for a 190/195,260 and 145 coming weeks to finalize my peak block :)

I remember last year that I was also working towards a nice peak and ended with a 3x240 on the deadlift. A week later I relapsed and my strength dropped to a hard grinder on a single with 240... how much more evidence do you want to have that porn is bad for you?

Hopes this will inspire you all to fight the good fight. And altough I've been on a successful streak for over 133 days now, I too have relapsed countless times from when I started to quit this addicition way back in 2015. Just remember to never give up and always be forgiving to yourself when you do relapse.

Wise words brother, the insights here are stellar. The fapping seems to be a stress release mechanism for when other parts of life aren’t working resonates with me. Being a fapstronaut is only one piece of the puzzle. Changing environmental factors has a lot to do with it also. Keep up the great work!

You’re really onto something here brother. The narratives and stories about expressing emotion. Being human! Also great work clearing away the boxes by the piano! Music has been an integral part of my healing work also.

Bro that's amazing, congrats on 133. Those pr's are incredible, especially for your size, your deadlifting almost 2.5 times your weight, soon im sure it'll be 3 times. Do you do any other physical training? Like martial arts, running etc

    Day 3 saiyans

Yesterday was tough, got hit with some hard deppresive and anxious thoughts, part of it was due to my sleep schedule being really off the last few days, but it also led me to almost lapse, I fought of the urges but damm, it can hit at any time. Keeping up with calisthenics, starting to get back to hitting the weights as well. Keep training, keep going

    Checking in Saiyan's!

    26 day's Free of PMO.

Better again today. Time to make waves and set a solid foundation for more change.

    Keep training!

    @Lexro84 Congrats on the PR!

@KaiokenX20 Sleep and sleep schedule consistency is key in this fight brother.

The sad thing about these men, as impressive as their dedication to fitness and diet may be, is that they will die young. All because of the copious amount of steroids they use.

    All good, still in control.
PMO was for me an end of day, one treat before going to sleep thing. It was a relief but also a habit. That is why it is twice as hard to resist it.
When I'm on autopilot my mind goes naturally there. It's funny really how my brain is doing so much work just to make me miserable. I wish it was working more on making me more money, or getting me a promotion.
Anyway, I finished YBOP, definetly recommend it, very good insights into how addiction works in general and very good advice on how to reboot and stay PMO free.

Stay strong everyone, one day at a time!
