Hello, I have an awkward question that you don't have to answer if you don't want to. Actually I will put a poll in as well for anonymity. Question is, has anybody broken their hymen from masturbating? Is this a stupid question? I ask this question partly out of simple curiosity, also because, being a christian, virginity is kind of a special thing. No, if you broke your hymen without a partner, doesn't mean you lost your virginity, but the hymen is a symbol of virginity. Let me give an example: A christian husband and wife have sex for the first time, both are virgins. But if the wife had broken her hymen from masturbation, a) the husband might feel a bit disappointed b) the wife might feel ashamed. Of course, the chances are that the husband has also masturbated a lot in his life, but their are no physical signs that give it away. He gets let off easily . My feeling is that it would be quite uncommon for a woman to break her hymen by masturbating, but I'm not sure, so that's why I am asking. If you want to answer, graphic details won't be necessary . Or you can go down a rabbit hole about how society has different perceptions and expectations for men and women when it comes to masturbation and virginity. Or you can roast me for even asking.
I actually don't ever recall it breaking, not even after my first time. A girl can break her hymen in many other ways other than sex (or masturbation) such as riding a horse, certain sports, etc. Also, not all women experience pain or even blood. Like I said, I don't even remember it happening. I assume it happened before my first time but I couldn't tell you when or how.
No i dun think so... i masturbate by grinding myself n i dun think it broke my hymen ... i broke my virginity thru sex for sure ...hope it answers ...
Like what zoetrent said, a woman can get her hymen broken from other things, such as horseback riding. Spoiler: a bit tmi I partially broke mine from inserting a couple fingers for the first time-it hurt, I felt a ripping sensation, and there was some blood. Later I ripped it more from the first time I used a dildo-again a ripping sensation, and blood. It didn't get ripped all the way until I had penetrative sex, then it was torn completely and hurt quite a bit.
Oh! Now I got to understand about the question after reading u all. Hmmmmmm........ It's a good information or it can be said an awareness question. I had seen many parents not allowing girls to ride bicycle but I never understood. Today I got the answer.
From what I understand, men can make it feel nice for the girl during her first time, even if she has one of those really 'big' hymens like I did...What they have to do is spend a lot of time warming her up, getting her feeling good and relaxed with him, and only penetrating her after she's deep in that mindset and thoroughly aroused...But yeah, otherwise it hurts. Just for all you guys to know But anyways, in direct answer to your OP, I doubt it's likely that the girl would get her hymen ripped from masturbation, but it is possible.
I read about hymen reattachment surgeries. Like girl would have sex then go to doctor and stitch it up. Well there are physical signs that give away if a guy has masturbated a lot. His one forearm would be bigger
I'm curious, if the hymen gets partially ripped but not actually broken. If you don't do anything that could break it afterwards would it heal the same as our skin? It must be the source of "losing your virginity". Would you say that losing virginity is A. Breaking the hymen via sex? Or B.Simply having sex for the first time? Interesting sub question huh? And what if losing virginity is simply breaking hymen? Then in theory could that mean if your hymen is torn, but you then have sex you aren't a virgin even though it's your first time penetrative sex? It's an interesting thought of the definition of virginity etc.
The hymen does not grow back, at all (at least, mine didn't, when I 'half' broke it. I left it alone for weeks, too). Unless like recoome said, the girl gets surgery done to fix it. I'm pretty sure most people agree that a woman doesn't lose her virginity if it's just broken by fingers. It's just that the physical 'proof' of her virginity isn't there, anymore...and it's not complete proof, as we can see here.
Allow me to explain. The bible tells us to save ourselves for marriage. There are many reasons why this is a good idea such as; no jealousy from past partners, no unhealthy emotional or spiritual ties to past partners, sex will be safer, you both get to 'discover' the fun together. So, it is reasonable that I'd want to marry a virgin. I would know she is a virgin before we marry of course, you need to talk about awkward things to your girlfriend . But if her hymen was already broken on our wedding night, I'd just be a little disappointed. But as I said before, this is a bit unfair anyway because I have masturbated a lot and what is the difference? lmao Additionally, marriage is a covenant under God between two people. And what seals a covenant? Blood. The breaking of the hymen is a symbolic sealing of a marriage covenant. Yes, pretty cool hey
The OP needs to get out more, most women are not chaste virginal creatures. Well unless you're intent on marrying a whale. LOL
