God can make it work for your benefit though by using our realization of our errors to better is through the spirit.

Then how are we still suffering from it eventhough we have asked for help numerous times? And wasn't peter given the thorn to humble him. I think it was peter who was given a thorn from the devil to humble him

Even though peter asked for the thorn to be removed three times Jesus told him to keep it

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

I understand but there are numerous times where I prayed and read my bible and I still would fall. I m trying to berealistic here

The temptation would be unbearable sometimes and other times I would give in because of my weak nature

I know the feeling but you have to understand how humans work. We are a spirit being with a soul (emotions) living in flesh(body). Your flesh will do anything to enable that habit. God's words affect it but your flash will still want it

And even after we get some reading or hearing the word, or praying,the enemy will come to try and take it away from you. To test you and see if you're really committed to God and his will. Read Matthew 13, the parable of the sower

I've also had this thoughts, but I agree will Bullarrd. Not sure if you ever so the video your mind on internet porn, but it help explains why our body/ mind wants porn.

James 1:14 says: each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.

Our temptation is from our evil desires, not from God, like James said. So, we can't put the guilty of our weakness in God. We can't say that we are failing because God wants it or because He doesn't help us enough

But God is sovereign above all things, including our sins, temptations... so "we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him" (Rm 8:28). He will use our weakness for a greater purpose, maybe to humble us

Actually, Paul asked for the thorn to be removed. But the thorn here is probably a sickness or something painful, it is definitely not a sin, because Jesus died so that we can overcome sin by His power. Sin is not something God wants us to carry.

I feel that you are feeling hopeless and trying to rationalize your weakness by saying "it is God's will". Brother, the will of God for us is that we walk in purity. Don't let satan fool you. You can do this by the power of Christ in you!!
