What deception do you think we need to be wary of here at NoFap?

The reason for the most part my offering here do not include scripture locations is for the the Fapstronaut to increase their scriptural knowledge by looking things up for themselves. This has more than one benefit, but one explained is it offers proper meditation material for day and night practice: faith commeth by hearing. Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

@Tao Jones Moderator: When children, ages 13, 14 and 16 year old (I assume all virgins) find there way here, asking specific questions geared toward finding help, and they are turned away only receiving human answers. No real hope. Little mature Christian biblical versed guidance. Human strength / willpower are the majority of answers falsely given.

Wasteful energy to teach that these precious child souls they are in 'addiction.' Shame on this Christian Group as a whole, for not being place of refuge that it can be and should be this very hour. I always like to think of it as I am in the house of NoFap this forum is their home. I have to respect their wishes. Now I can go out into the street and do Gods will all day. But I think the Godly thing to do is to have respect for the home even if they will receive the wrath of God.

I would agree that most people that use porn are not addicts but I think this group does a good job of introducing those children to the gospel wouldn't you agree @stands to reason

I'm sure there is some deception in the NoFap community, via the father of lies. In my opinion a very small part of that is intentional and the rest is by the simple lack of wisdom. I have also found that the vast majority of users in this community are following the Proverb 27:17 'As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another' and are doing their best to help other users. One fact that I do know is that I have never, never, believed it was possible to go without PM until I stumbled across NoFap and this group of brothers. Thanks guys! Yours in Christ

No one is being told in this group that they must rely on their own willpower to overcome PMO. Nor is anyone being prevented from sharing Christ here! Rather the opposite, in fact, and there are many recent examples of this. If you have specific concerns, please feel free to reach out to me directly. Thanks!

I pray that this group will glorify Christ and that our love toward one another here will be a witness to the entire community of the love of Christ toward the world.

i will tell you this, i have been in Christ for a very long time and the knowledge of the word of God was NOT enough for me. It wasn't until I learned and gained some worldly knowledge about PMO and became educated that The process began for me. Also helping others i think is the key to helping yourself.
