A much better and more true statement than the common "all things happen for a reason." What I often want to paraphrase to those who say this is this quote. "Sure...for those who love God..."

People often want to say Peace on earth, Goodwill toward men. But they leave of for those God Favors. The birth of Christ was NOT good news to everyone. Herod, for example. The Teachers of the law the list goes on and on but in today's world we like to think its good news for all. That's not what scripture teaches us.
