Hello, just wanted to leave a message here. Didn't have a Christian upbringing but have been reading the bible and praying for a few months as well as watching a lot of Christian material on youtube. (Matt Fradd and others) Have some difficult childhood trauma and mental health issues of which porn is one facet and so far haven't even come close to any kind of healing. Hard to get to a church right now- especially since I'm in China but once I'm in my own country I plan to start attending a church. Thank you.

Welcome, you don’t need to have a Christian upbringing to come to Christ. Some of us here struggle with the same thing whilst some share their testimonies as you will yours too!
If you believed, then I am proud to call you brother as you have believed into a family. I would encourage you start with the facts and Charter of the gospel(death burial, resurrection and ascension of Gods Christ), the first step is to understand Gods in depth love for us and we find that in the gospel! The books of Matthew - John can be a starting point, take ur time, don’t rush! Watch those videos there are some sound preachers out there.
