I asked @Henryforward to pray for God to reveal to me what real love is - after he said he had a distorted vision of love and when he came to know real love it blew his mind. I believe my post is what God just revealed to me

For some ppl who watch PG P, it’s hard to believe it. But when you get to PG-13 and R rated P, then it’s easier to believe it.

That is some good thinking revealed to your heart by God’s spirit.

Now open your eyes further and see the Truth: P is not "mild" -- it is wretched and filthy to the core. It turns men and women created by God himself into little more than furniture. It twists godly intimacy between two people into something unrecognizably vile. It traps those who consume it in a cage that is incredibly difficult to break free from. Evil is evil, and there is never anything "mild" about what would lure us away from God.

I understand all that and it definitely did that to me. But when you see. If you see PG and G rated P, it’s hard to understand and believe it. But when you see PG-13 and R rated P, then it’s easier to believe and understand it. Unfortunately I never knew of such a thing as sexual intimacy and marriage. Now I do, but I don’t know what to do. I want to experience God’s gift and stop corrupting his creation. Know what I mean? I hate this addiction. Please help me.

@Tao Jones your words are powerful and touch my. „Evil is evil.“ - I agree but I am having problems. I don‘t have a desire to watch P - but I am having a desire to see some sort of „soft-porn“. F.ex. a lap dance or pics where someone show‘s skin. Our world is full of „soft-porn“. Two years ago I went to confession, then was clean for a month. Watched a lap dance. As time went on that turned into watching P again.

@Tao Jones So from that experience two years ago I know „soft-porn“ is a trap.
I remind myself of Jesus words: „If you only look at a woman with lust, you have already committed adultery with her in your heart“.

@Tao Jones but I don‘t know what else I can do than think of those words. Why do I even have a desire to see some sort of “soft-porn”? Is the devil trying to lure me in again? Pls pray for me - I know I hate it- (P or whatever form of “soft-P”) but my flesh is evil.

We all have natural urges but we must not listen to the old serpent! Keep filling your mind with good and allow yourself to be renewed and this will fall away. Soon bouncing the thought to think on that which is acceptable will become second nature.

Yes it is the enemy trying to baby step you back to porn. He will help you rationalize these other temptations because he wants you back. Someone once said that when you rationalize you tell rational lies.

I am joining these others in prayer for you. We stand behind you, as you take the steps that keep you free.

Hello Everybody!
I remembered in MATTHEW 6:22 Jesus said "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness."

If I have a dirty thoughts then my whole body will be full of darkness.
Another great scripture is ZECHARIAH 2:5 where GOD says: "I will be a wall of fire around Jerusalem.."
So I asked God to make a wall of fire around me to protect me from the demons and to make my eyes light, so that my body can be light. ...I did get really hot while praying that and my head was burning too - I think God was burning the thoughts.

After sharing this post and two days of the worst urges yet - I felt calm and my mind was at peace again. No more dirty desires. I know it was your prayers. So thank you all again!! "When I was in distress, you have enlarged me."
