Hello everyone, I'm AgentShadow and I joined this group yesterday.
Quick introduction I guess. I'm 13 years old, I accidentally stumbled apon pornography when I was 11. It quickly turned into an addiction because today, it's so easy and almost encouraged. But I'm putting a stop to it now while I'm still early on in my life. I know that this is not God's plan for me and that it's hurting me mentally, physically, and spiritually. I went to WinterJam a few months ago and saw some amazing bands and artists. One of them was Matthew West. He advertised his devotional book and I decided to check it out just because. It turns out, some of the lessons are about overcoming addiction. The book itself is about how we mess up, but every day can be day 1 because of God's forgiveness and mercy. I knew right when I started reading, that God chose this book for me because he knew what I was going through and that it would help me. So thanks for having me here, and let's beat this together.
