@Cirilla was called a pedo freak on Reddit and then she deleted her account. I mean, what kind of a fucking excuse is that for calling someone a pedo freak if she didn't do anything negative??? So glad I stopped using Reddit!
There are some subreddits, which I found very helpful (e.g. r/bodyweightfitness), but the vast majority is either toxic af and/or an utter waste of time. That's why I try to only go there when I am looking for something very specific. Also, I block out all image and video content from reddit, so it's much safer in regards to porn now.
Yup just deleted mine a few days ago. Reddit is the online equivalent of sitting with wet brain drunks at a bar and listening to their irrelevant conversations. IF you're going to use it, it's ok for local news. I found some great restaurant recommendations on it... But you have to be very disciplined to use it for that.
Reddit has some nice subs that i loved but the randomness of something nsfw popping up and some truly vile and horrible subs on the front page made me quit it completely. I has been a relief after quitting it. I never bothered about karma and downvotes what really bothered me was the moderation of such a large site done by amateurs and power hungry folks who could let content slip by. Also the content was so misogynous, anti science etc.
Yeah, I'm following a rule of thumb. Whenever I see something with that poorly sketched face I'm going to pass and carry on with my life.
Hey, being someone who has never had a Reddit or used Reddit. I’m considered making an account to identify a fossil I own. Is Reddit generally safe when it comes to anonymity? And if there is a fossil identification place within Reddit, is it generally filled with experts trying to get a sneak peak at something new. Or is it just a place filled with a bunch of kind of, wannabe know it alls?
https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/yrnbox/jones_dc_ag_karl_racine_says_his_office_is_filing/ The fucking comment section on Reddit is wild as motherfucking fuck. Redditors always like to pointless jokes and act like they are trying to be funny. Reddit is worth lurking on when it comes to sports and anything, though.
