Set a meeting this morning with my slaa sponsor to have him put a new explicit content filter on my phones. My chaotic side went nuts when I woke up and fell out of morning routines. Obsessing about clearing history and cookies as if I was a sneaky teenager again. Madness.
Went to meet him anyway and spilled all the beans. I feel lighter. Gave him my phone to resecure. I feel clearer and more present already

 

Day 15 - Elite Warrior!! @Kingfisher

It has been a good week with auto control avoiding ogling women or fantasizing; I was able to keep urges at bay. I have also had erotic dreams with a bunch of tempting situations.

@Person_Need_To_Change, the final goal of the streak is the reboot. This means rewriting the wires in your brain to natural sex instead of stimulation that comes from a screen. After this period, we aim to be able to study/code/focus, etc. You have a limited amount of willpower per day. If you try to do work that you don't want to do, stop eating the things you like and also ignore the urge telling you that with porn, you can escape everything and be a winner; if you are on top of that stressed and having a bad day, there is a high probability to relapse. One step at a time, the "fat sweaty hairy stomach kinda man" is not a porn addict; he has other problems to solve. My problem now is that I am a porn addict and need to stop it. I need not watch porn for 90 days, and everything else can wait. I understand the spirit of your comment but trying to make many changes at once require a lot of willpower that we do not have every day.

You don't just need to not watch P for 90 days.
You have to learn to respond to life's stressors in fundamentally different, healthier ways.

 

@stronaut2021 You have a good point tho, I know mental health and feelings should be cared about them. Everyone got his own goals. My goal isn't to abstain from porn/fap, my goal is to accomplish my goals and I found that porn/fap and unwanted sexual triggers stop me from achieving them. I'm gonna go on no-anything that makes me a loser.
..I don't say beat your ass with working, you should study yourself and know whether letting your emotions helps you or not.

Sorry for being absent brothers. I’ve been overwhelmed lately and trying to get into routine. Ideally I want to get into the habit of posting here daily.

I’ve made some tweaks in my strategy and seem to be doing ok now. This is the longest streak I’ve had in a while.

Yesterday was a tough battle, but we managed. I almost fall into the trap: "just one search won't hurt.." I remembered just in time YES it DOES hurt. The loop will always start with just 1 search...
