I've been doing cold showers for 2 or 3 months now. It takes getting used to but its a great way to begin the day. I also do pushups and pullups every morning. I'm trying to be more disciplined with meditation. All those are great things plus it can go a long way to developing discipline. Keep at it.
The 7th I had very strong urges yesterday but once again I simply allowed them to be and they faded on their own. I have achieved the 7-day goal I had set for myself. Now to double it to 14 days. Day 2 Cold shower Day 2 Exercise: Biceps [Bicep curls with dumbbells 12.5 kg 4 sets*8 reps] Back (Dumbbell rows 25 kg 4 sets*10 reps] Day 1 Meditation: Mindfulness meditation for 15 mins; 6 Phase Meditation for 10 mins;
Dude! I had the same experience this morning. I had an urge right when I woke up, but took a step back to just acknowledge what I was feeling. It made it so much easier to see that I was just feeling/thinking about porn because of chemicals in my brain/body and that this would pass after I got up and did some healthy things.
