insomia, fatigue, and lack of motivation

    Hi everyone, well I feel I'm in flatline, honestly lack of any motivation, I tried to practice and exercise every other day in Gym for almost 47days now. but now very exhausted and can't sleep well, I don't know how to pass this period and move with my life.
    my question is how long does this flatline last?

    A thing that work for me is meditation before going to sleep, if you do mindfulness seriously it helps. Also very important is a good multivitamins to take every day for raising energy.

    I got depression and anxiety very often for 4 months. You need to provide vitamins now, especially Vit D. Try also 5-HTP, Valerian capsules,L-tyrosine and ginseng to improve your mood. Gaba before sleep helped me to sleep better.

    I felt terrible, worst time in my life, first time from time when I have started this process i have 4 days at row without depression and anxiety. With supplements I felt bad but I could live with it somehow.

    Maybe take a rest day in the gym. Continue to remind yourself why you are doing this and read up on the flatline. This is part of the process and you are going to have to get through it. Take it in, embrace it and own it. Maybe a day of is good but then the following day however you are feeling go in and have a monster session. Meditation is good or go and play a team sport or a gym class with others this can help.

    It's not flatline, it's anhedonia caused by dopamine receptors deficiency. It takes long time to regrowth your receptors. Here are some tips to keep you going:

    What's the difference between anhedonia and flatline? My genitals have changed and shrunken and my balls feel lighter and I feel bored by most ordinary pleasures in life so...do I have both?

    Flatline is when you have no libido, no morning woods etc. Anhedonia is when you lose interest in everything and nothing can give you pleasure anymore. Flatlining is part of anhedonia. Things will get to normal, don't worry. It just takes time.

    I must be in flatline though, my dick did shrink overnight after fapping and binging over the course of a weekend. I have lost interest in my old hobbies. Also, I had been worried it's venous leak but I don't think a physical problem can develop after prone masturbating.     I don't know. From my own experience, my dick was totally "dead" for the first 2-3 months of monk mode then things started to improve (morning woods etc).

    What do you mean exactly by that? Do you have trouble falling asleep, or is it more of a problem staying asleep? I can fall asleep easily, but I keep waking up every two or three hours.

    very interesting, Anhedonia seems the real diagnosis of my case. I remember I've been in this case for a long period of time and honestly suffering even before I quit PMO, Thanks so much for enlighten me.

    I just meant having trouble with sleeping and maintaining sleep.
    It's not about thinking a lot or anxiety of whatever, It's all about Vague sensation that comes to me while sleeping.

    I'm on 60 days and have been flatling almost from the beginning.
    No interest in meeting girls, or working out and no energy.

    This sucks, a couple of years ago I had a streak of 68 days and I was having "superpowers" some days. Now nothing :-(

    Please Help! I'm in flatline probably I'm feeling sick, depressed and lack of any motivation that I'm unable to do any work properly. It happened on my earlier streak too, do I push through? Or give in? Please Help?

    It will sound so "Cliche", but I really can't give you any better answer then what has already been written million times:

    1. Sleep (get 7-9 hours of sleep, go to bed and wake up at the same time every day)
    2. Exercise (long daily aerobic exercise. You can start walking 1-2 hours a day if you can't run/cycle/swim ect. right now)
    3. Healthy balanced diet:
    a) no processed food if possible with lots of fruits and vegetables
    b) drink 2-3 liters of water per day
    c) take these supplements if possible: fish oil (omega 3), Vitamine B complex, Vitamin D, Zinc, Calcium, Magnesium
    4) socialize as much as you can in real life
    5) set yourself short and long term goals (not too hard) and focus on them, not on counting days of abstinence

    Optional:
    1. Take quality yoga classes where they teach you how to breathe properly, stretch your body and meditate (something like https://www.yogaindailylife.org/)
    2. Pray ( practice gratitude)
    3. Weightlift 3-4 times a week
    4. Take a cold shower every morning (good for your immune system and willpower)

    And foremost be patient. This shit takes time. Lots of time. I need 5-6 months to start feeling better. Remember slow progress is still a progress. I hope this helps.

    I guess I'll have to push through, it's just that from 1-50 days there's so much energy that anything is possible, and now this, it sucks now.
