Good day everybody. Started this morning with an updated routine including journaling, inspired by the Porn Reboot program and Universal Man. I'd love to be a part of this challenge. It will give me something to look forward to each day.
I relapsed again today. I've seen this happen to me often, that I am able to stay away from PMO for a pretty long time, but after a relapse, I have multiple quick relapses after the first relapse. I know what to do to keep clean, but often find myself returning to old habits after a while. I think this is because I am very motivated in the beginning, but then begin to start feeling too confident, in the sense that I don't need this forum anymore and that I can do this alone. But I know that this forum helps me a lot and that, if I keep focus on what I know is best, I will not have the desire to look at P again. I know that I can stay clean for the first months but will work harder on staying clean after these months. Tomorrow I will start over and work on what I have learned from previous relapses.
18 days down and heading towards Buckleberry Ferry. PMO Black Riders are after me, and boy could I feel it waking up this morning with urges. Must keep running for the ferry!
Look like you're very healthy already. The reboot is meant to recover your brain dopamine system and learn to see women not as objects for satisfying sexual desire as well. If you already can feel pleasure from the plenitude of smaller things and if you see women as fellow human beings maybe you should start looking for the woman you want to marry and have children with...Can you look at the woman without thinking about sex ,would you like to be with somebody when all that connects you is food, sex, and watching videos or would you like to have a like minded human being with whom you have common interests, with whom you don't have to lie and pretend to be somebody you are not. I'd opt for rebooting at least untill you can see in your mind exactly whom you are after.
Checking in ! 'Tips' followed: 1)Meditate , 2)Stay accountable daily , 3) Study about reboot , 4) Take cold showers , 6)Follow trigger prevention plan , 8) Practice physical exercise , 10) Sleep well to improve:7)Get occupied.Work on my hobbies and dreams and 9)Eat healthy
Day 114. - Meditate - Yes, moments of meditation throughout the day and while running - Stay accountable daily - yes! - Study about the reboot - Not at the moment. - Take cold showers - someone asked that I look into to this more... - Challenge daily your excuses to pmo - Everyday while meditating - Follow a triggers prevention plan - No social media, no YT, no video entertainment whatsoever, excluding videos shared in these forums - Get occupied. Work in your hobbies and dreams - putting hours into my thesis - Practice physical exercise - Ran 2.76 miles with my puppies - Eat healthy - scrambled eggs, chicken and whole veggies, water and tea - Sleep well - A little better. It seems like my body wants to get up earlier. Hard to accept this, honestly. The dogs get too crazy because we let them out right when we get up.
@Slider8 ! This is a great perspective that hadn't considered when conemplating my reboot. It turns out I am very confident in what I am looking for in a girlfriend at this point and what common interests I would like to share with her. I am going take your advice and still aim for a reboot like you mentioned. I am less concerned with focusing on the reboot though as you are right, my view of women is not as distorted as it once was. I do remember it being pretty distorted when I first started nofap.
Day 6. Feeling really tired and depressed today and didn't get much done. This flatline is horrible. Also had mega urges to PMO.
Day 60. Today was a hard day but I’m still in the fight so let’s keep doing this brothers and sisters
Day 13 complete. A big shoutout to the folks who are struggling right now; you can do this! @SpecBec That doesn't sound fun at all :/ Just remember that doing nothing at all for a while is still better for you than PMO! @MyGodandMyAll27 Good job carrying your cross and pushing through the hard days! Our Lord is walking beside us constantly.
