Covenant Eyes. It's helped me because I get a notification anytime a brother tries to deactivate his account / delete the software. I always follow up that notification by reaching out to the brother and letting him know I'm with him. That, and the "screentime" feature if you have an Iphone.

  3. Boomerang, ***, and Ever-accountable are a few I have used as an AP. Someone else may e more familiar with the pro’s and con’s.

Cold Turkey is great for PC. Just set up to block all sites and allow only safe sites.

My internet company has its own site blocker and even blocks Google searches so no porn sites will not pop up if you Google something

mobicip is very effective on iphone if you need something difficult to bypass on mobile. I currently use covenant eyes on windows.

  8. The uk has a porn block on the broadband setting side... you can activate so as long as you don't disable it then all's good, unfortunately I'm always disabling that thing. Im kinda wishing the UK passed the law to block porn by default and requiring a credit card to access but it didn't happen. But I've become more of a puritan lately but still a agree it should be a free choice but

Let's pray the law comes back and they pass it. I live in the UK too. It *should* be a free choice...that you make as an adult with your credit card!

  10. Literal Word app helps to understand Bible better. Word helps to cleanse and to strenghten in Spirit to windstand.

  11. Good suggestion. I always like another view of Gods word.

  12. Theres a cool feature where you just press the word and it gives original hebrew or greek meaning on it and translation. So really helps to get deep into the Word without knowing ancient languages.

Yes, Literal Word is my favorite Bible app. I also like an audio Bible called Streetlights. It's engaging and enjoyable to listen to. A good tool when feeling tempted.
Disabling private windows has been helpful for me.

  15. Anything that can be disabled can be re-enabled. This is why I believe accountability software is superior. It is a stronger defense when we need it most.

  16. This reminds movie Courageous (2011) - "Fathers you are ACCOUNTABLE TO GOD for the position of influence He has given to you."
God is watching guys. satan dont come like roaring beast to us. he comes with good things, sometimes very good and beautiful things. Like girls or prosperity, but in the end worldly pleasures are just a with gliter springled poo. God often comes to us with delayed gratifaction things, even with bitter things sometimes. "Lying tongue is sweet but its fruits are bitter, but sin repenting is bitter but its fruits are sweet. "

@Tao Jones what do you use to block images on your computer? Is there anything to block images on iOS?

  18. In Chrome browser, I use Wizmage Image Hider. Works like a charm.

iOS is too rich for my blood. No idea on that. :) (I actually have chosen to avoid iOS devices because their security model will not allow one app to monitor another one, which is the way most accountability software works. It seemed best to e to just stick with Android and other platforms that are more friendly to recovery. Also, every Apple device I have ever seen is at least twice as expensive as the comparable non-Apple model...)

  19. Blocking images on a website might help some people as it helps me. Some internet browsers have options to block images within their settings. On Windows I think Google Chrome, Firefox, and Opera have options to block images by default. But you can even make exceptions so that some websites can still show images. I usually surf the internet on Firefox where I have all images blocked. If I need to see images (like on Google Maps or Youtube,) I switch to my Google Chrome browser.
